Every two years, Light+Building in Frankfurt, Germany, unites the most important fields of building planning under one roof. Here Gira presents a host of new products from the world of intelligent building technology for light, blinds, door communication and the intelligent networking and control of home technology among other applications.
Gira eNet is the new bi-directional radio system for clever networking and control of home technology. The new system means that complex applications and scenes can be upgraded with ease as well. Control of Gira eNet is possible with various operating devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers via an interface – via LAN, WLAN and the internet.
The new range of Gira data and communication connection technology offers interfaces for all common applications in the areas of multimedia and networks – matching the switch range.
For the first time, Gira is offering a USB power supply with two connectors for installation in the 58 mm flush-mounted device box, in the style of the switch range. With them, mobile devices such as mobile phones, MP3 players, and the like can be charged directly at the USB power supply without an additional charger.
Simply try it out and create your own favourite design: The Gira design configurator enables you to combine the diverse range of frame variants from the Gira switch ranges with functions from the Gira assortment. The Gira design configurator can be called up online and is available as a free app for iPhones, iPads and other smartphones and tablets.
The Gira Control Clients enable simple and intuitive control of the KNX/EIB house technology via a touch screen. They are used in connection with the Gira HomeServer 3 or FacilityServer. Additionally, use as a door intercom is possible in combination with the Gira DCS-IP-gateway. The Gira Control Clients are available with either a screen diagonal of 47 cm (19") or 22.9 cm (9").
Modern interior design concepts present authentic materials with their own unique character. Gira Esprit offers sophisticated new solutions here. The cover frame variant walnut-aluminium is available starting immediately.
The Gira CO₂-sensor enables ambient air and therefore also well-being to be improved by monitoring the CO₂ concentration. The quality of air is displayed via LED in traffic light colours. If set limits are exceeded, e.g. windows can be opened or fans switched on automatically, and an internal buzzer can also signify an increased level of CO2 concentration.

A Multi-Room Audio/Video solution affords you access to your collection from wherever you are in the home, meaning less time finding the right music/movie and more time enjoying it.
The new Gira push button sensor 3 is available starting immediately. It controls various bus functions such as saving and calling up light scenes, switching and dimming lights, and raising and lowering blinds. The assignment of the push buttons can be simply reprogrammed for this.
The Gira radio energy and weather display combines the display of weather and energy consumption data within one device and for the first time matching the switch range. So you don't just see how the weather will be but also how much electricity and gas is currently being consumed.
