The new Gira RDS flush-mounted radio just sits in the wall, like a light switch or a socket outlet. That avoids annoying cables and keeps work surfaces and counters free.
Its capacitive sensor field and the high-quality display for information and station-specific data make intuitive operation especially convenient. The loudspeaker has a completely new design concept to give the radio a pure, voluminous sound, even in excellent stereo quality when the optionally available Gira supplementary loudspeaker is connected. The loudspeakers can be installed directly next to the radio operating element or installed at a distance of up to 20 m when connected with a 2-wire cable. The radio automatically detects connected loudspeakers and switches between stereo and mono mode.
New. Additional design varients starting January 2012
New design variants are available for the Gira RDS flush-mounted radio, starting January 2012. The expanded range includes the colours pure white glossy, cream white glossy and colour aluminium for the System 55 operating top unit and the variant black glass appearance for the loudspeaker.
Light and music at the press of a button.
The functionality of the radio can be expanded with the integrated 230 V auxiliary input. If for example an automatic control switch or the bathroom lighting is connected to it, the radio is automatically switched on and off together with the light.
